Boat Motor Controller Kiosk

The customer needed a tradeshow demonstration to show the operation of their device, a marine engine controller. They wanted an interactive demo so visitors could use the device, not just look at it.

Solution

We created a system built around the actual engine controller and throttle lever. The computer fully interfaces to the controller, simulating the signals so it works just as if it was really attached to an engine. The user can then interact with a throttle and other controls to pilot the virtual boat, complete with animated graphics, simulated engine sounds, and video clips.
